How To Make Our Dream Come True

"There is no such thing as a negative thought - every thought has a positive result in reproducing itself. Every thing you think about grows in your mind and becomes part of your physical life. That's why it is so important to control what you are thinking. The key to controlling your mind is replacing the thoughts that create what you don't want, with the thoughts that create what you do want. You do not resist the old thoughts, you replace them by putting your attention somewhere else." - Brad Jensen

Simple Steps To Make Our Dream Come True
  1. Create a list, include what you really desire in order of its importance to you
  2. Read the list three times a day
  3. Think of the items on the list as often as you can, and
  4. Don't tell anyone what you are doing.
Power Of Words

Words have power within themselves.  We use words because we believe everyone shares something common behind words as perspective. We can share similar perspective by words because we have been educated in similar way and been in similar culture. The education and culture give words massive power coming from integration.

When words are spoken by large number of people so the power of the words also become stronger.  When George W. Bush was a president of US, his name had huge power so people could easily make people laugh or smirk by simply putting his name in their speech.  The words have power because they drive emotional integrity. At the time words are initially used, the words do not have such a power, but after being spoken, or thought in mind, the words gain independent life and power.

Since words have gained so much power nowadays, parts of mind can be explicitly created by words.
Hideto Tomabechi, a genius brain scientist and Buddhist, he wrote in his book yume wo kanaeru houteishiki (equation for making dream come true) that we create our future from words and image.  When we hear, for example, "would you like to drink coffee?" we instantly imagine the taste, smell, or looks of coffee from our memory, after then, our mind exaggerated these quality of coffee, we more likely to choose coffee if there are several other options.

So the key is "words, image and reality".  What we expressed by words create our past, present and future.

The words invoke image, and image remain in our subconscious mind, then as the image arise on our conscious mind, it will already have become reality.

So whenever we try to achieve something in the future, we need to accumulate hints and leads from the past.  It is in some sense like cooking, we need ingredients when some delicious meal come up in our mind.

Lie Ourselves With Good Cause
'When I was your age, people told me not to make things up,' I told them. 'These days, they give me money for it.' - Neil Gaiman, Novelist
Writers are liars. They never write true stories, especially fantasy novelists.  People might be amazed, cry, be surprised, feel graceful and so on. But indeed, they are all lies if I could say lie is something has never happened.
So why don't we use lies for ourselves? It's not really tough thing to do. Just let your mind tell others whatever it wants to say so you feel the most comfortable. If you do not like being called liar, just tell yourself something good for you. Especially young children and youth, words are primary source of self-encouragement and self-realization. If you want to be a professional player in some sports, say it around. The words will have power in themselves. Let's constantly look for what we genuinely want and tell us that we can.

After the lies

So what usually happens after liars lied by habit? They normally try to eliminate bad leads and create convincing factors to prove their own arguments.  In other words, they try to fill in the gap between reality and the world which their lies are truths.  Since they think their fictitious world must be true, they work with maximum immersion.  This is the hint, to make our dream come true.

Hypnotise Ourselves

Everyone has BURNING DESIRE innately, which is supported by FAITH.  Whatever science says, we need to BELIEVE that our desire will COME TRUE DEFINITELY.  All things discouraging are untrue.  When Henry Ford wanted a car with eight cylinder, and told that to the mechanics, they said it's impossible. Henry Ford responded "I want it, so I get it" and also told them that no matter how many days it would take to invent the car, they can stay on the job.  Two years have passed and mechanics were still not getting any string of hint, but Ford didn't give up, and eventually, HIS WISH CAME TRUE because HE DIDN'T GIVE UP HIS CRAZIEST DESIRE!

Burn The Bridge Behind Us

It's not enough to keep faith in us since our time and physical abilities are limited.  We need to commit and devote our whole energy into acquiring the thing you REALLY WANT whatever it takes.  So before or during trying to get it, we shall burn the bridge behind us, and immerse ourselves.  When Edwin C. Barnes strongly DESIRED to work with Thomas Edison, he had neither money nor education, he had only DESIRE and made a trip to Edison's place.  Filthy looking stranger didn't make it immediately, but got employed as a menial worker, and he GRASPED THE CHANCE!  When Edison wanted someone who can do sales part of his invention, Barnes raised his hand immediately and soon became a very important businessman for Edison.  Despite he started as a menial worker, his mind was already working with Edison, so he did anything that makes him get closer to Edison.  He burned the bridge behind him and proceeded with faith and devotion.

If you've read up to here, read the first quote again and realize the success needs to lie inside our mind first, then be materialized afterward.  Napoleon Hill wrote "One must realize that all who have accumulated great fortunes, first did a certain amount of dreaming, hoping, wishing, DESIRING, and PLANNING before they acquired money."

Realize our dreams by realizing other's dreams
What if there was an industry called 'dream realization'?  People work for realizing customers' dreams.  In exchange, the workers get what they truly deserve.

This sounds too good to be true, but essential part of this story is 'we attain as much as we give.'  The most obvious example is the working relationship that we work for somebody and get paid.  However, human desires are not necessarily achievable by money.  To live in peaceful life, have a inexchangeable friend, amazingly beloved person, the best job in life, joy when we were understood, gladness when we were heard, they are something we can't buy even though money shall work an important role.

There is a story of hell and heaven.  People in hell, starved to death and look so poor, they are bound by a rule.  When they eat anything, they have to use chopsticks which are longer than their arms.  People in hell couldn't feed themselves and starved..

On the other hand, people in heaven are very rich and healthy despite the same rule is applied on them.  The only difference between people in hell and people in heaven is that people in heaven feed other people by using the chopsticks, people in hell never even thought about others and just struggling to feel themselves.

We can apply the wisdom that we can get from this story in real life.  If we wish our own dreams come true, we should first consider other people's dreams and happiness.

It naturally makes sense, without people around us, any dreams would be meaningless.  No matter what brilliant stage we would be dancing and singing, it would be very agonizing if we weren't celebrated by anybody we spiritually close to.

While strongly wishing our dreams to come true, we must pray for others to be happier and wealthier than even ourselves.
